My Approach
Before automatic writing, I close my eyes, focus on my breathing, and silently say the following:
“Mother/father god, thank you for this time. I ask to release my ego from this process. I ask that only the words that are in my highest good to know come through. If I am to ask for another, please provide me with what is in their highest good to know at this time. I ask only to be a pure conduit. I ask that you surround me with light and love. Protect me. Keep me safe.
I then repeat the following until the words begin to come in:
“Mother/Father god, you and I are one. Surround me with your pure and golden light of love and protection….”
I only “ask” for other people if they have asked me to set my intention on their behalf. I then wait for the “nudge,” which for me generally happens at 3 or 4 a.m. Then, I’ll wake up thinking about a certain person and I’ll be unable to go back to sleep until I do an automatic writing on their behalf.
Sometimes when someone asks for my assistance, I’ll get a message within 24 hours. Other times it will be a few days or a few weeks. Sometimes the message never comes. I trust in the process and know the words come when they are supposed to, and if they don’t come, I believe involving me was unnecessary.
I used to write what I was receiving in longhand and then typed it up. The process was time-consuming, and my handwriting was so bad that often it was difficult to read what I had received. I eventually tried automatic “typing” and discovered I could easily type with my eyes closed. I’ve done it that way ever since.
While I can automatic write at any point in the day, I feel most clear and tuned in anywhere from 3-6 a.m. That’s often when I receive the “nudge.”
I am always greeted with “Dear one,”“Sweet one,”“Blessed one.”
know of others who channel and they receive similar greetings. When those words come in, I feel such a deep energy of love. It fills me up and I “know” that I am conscious of the connection to Source. I say “conscious” because we are always connected to Source. We just aren’t always aware of it!
