She is embarking on a fabulous journey. She is creating for herself the life she has always wanted to lead. And she is taking it step by precious step. She is untangling the parts of herself that have been tangled en masse; that have not served her well; that have held her from her greatest good. Continue this magnificent work. See clearly the possibilities. Remember that you are in control. You are indeed creating the reality of your existence. It can appear terrifying to realize the true magnitude of your power, but dear one once you realize the mind-body connection, there is no turning back; there is no thinking in a way that is not productive and saturated in your highest good.

As you explore the parts of yourself that you desire to mend, be gentle. Do not regret days gone by. Do not wish for different outcome. Trust that all were necessary for your growth and those of others. You are asking for a better way and it is being provided. This is magical. This is nourishing. Imagine if you will the depths of hunger. Is it not then that you realize your thirst? That you realize how joyful you will be when you place to your lips a cup of nourishment? Ahhh… it is the same. Without the hunger you cannot imagine the joy of completion. And so it is the same, dearest. It is the same. The contrast provides acknowledgment that true progress has been made. It indicates the joy of the experience.

You are on the right path. You are seeking truth, not judgment and this is good and this is fine. Do not despair. Do not assume this is too large to repair. It is not. It is about choice. It is about deciding to partake in a different way. The focus must remain at your feet. Do not allow yourself to rewrite history or to jump forward and imagine “what if?” What is important is this day, this moment, this hour. Not this decade. Not years past, but now. Know that you have made a choice and in this decision, you have created all that you desire. This is not pie in the sky. This is not “maybe.”

This is truth. It can be no other way.

Recently, I received guidance for someone that it was important for her to turn her attention inward. She is a very driven, goal-oriented person and she kept asking “why?” “Why is it important to DO that?” I asked for clarity for her and this is what I received. I hope you find it helpful in your life:

“This is a time of great self-exploration. It is a time when you will truly discover your purpose. It is easy for one to think that the work they are to do in this lifetime is practical; but it goes much deeper than simply X, Y, and Z.

This is a time to turn within. As you go within, you will discover the breadth of your soul. It will be almost like meeting another. It will be a feeling of coming home – to purpose, to place, to a deep understanding of what this lifetime is about. Sweet one you are goal oriented. You are “doing” oriented, and while this is good and kind, it is not ultimately about that.

(Spirit she is wondering why. Why go within? Why would anyone do that? What is the purpose? Why is it important?)

The need for self-exploration, for spiritual renewal, is necessitated by the soul. It is the soul’s goal to assist you in th is manner. It is “work” if you will, that you asked to do when you came in in this lifetime. For you it is a time to explore self worth. It is a time to recognize the power; not of doing but of being. This is needed sweet one because your soul is in the process of evolving. It is asking for more. It is asking for guidance. It is asking to bring into this earthly realm what it needs to thrive.

A question sweet one to take into meditation is “what is it you desire? What is in my highest good to know at this time? It is a deep and probing question. Then you must trust what comes first in the stillness of the mind is for you to know.

By furthering your development in this way, you will enrich the parts of your life that are more visible. You will feel calmer. You will feel more energetic. You will feel more focused. But at your core you will feel settled; as if you have been let in on a big secret and you are enjoying the depths of this knowledge. You will see your relationships flourish. You will literally feel your heart unfurl.

(So how best for her to proceed?)

Sit quietly. Still the mind. Allow it to empty out. Spend five minutes writing, allowing the mind to empty out of its noise. Write whatever comes to mind, even the dullest. And then sit.

Bring your mind back to center: This moment, right here, right now. It does not have to be for hours; it can be for a moment. But it is a moment that will prove the most important in your day. Steadily increase the time. Trust that this is possible. Release doubt. Release nervousness. Release the idea of “I can’t” and replace it with the notion, “I must.”

This is a blessed time, a sacred time, a time when you will feel more connected to life than ever before. Trust this process.

“At the end of the day, you are human and there are emotions that surface. They are not to be judged. They are not to be overcome or conquered. They are to be explored. As you know, sweet one, emotions exist to allow you to learn. They exist so that you understand “this way: not “that.” And so you are seeing a manifestation of these emotions and it is causing heartache and trepidation. Trust that you can move through these. They are not to be overcome. They are not to be squelched. They are asking to be explored. They are asking to be paid attention to.

One way in which you can determine what is occurring is to invite in each one and ask, “What is it you desire? How might I help you today?” Lighten the load by approaching this in a playful way. Ask as you might a child who is problematic. Do not assume that you know the full depth of what is occurring without this process.

You are learning the limitations of time and space. That is not to say you must accept these limitations. When you fully understand the depths of this knowledge, you are limitless – in potential, in possibilities, in demonstration, in assistance.

You have touched the tip of the iceberg, if you will, in seeing what can be explored in this manner. You deeply trust, but what you must allow to occur is the unfolding of all. Do not rush. Do not hurry. Do not attempt to skip steps.

Allow yourself, if you can, the same intention you set when you determine it is time to watch the sun rise. You are seated, gaze upward, and you watch. You have set aside the time. You know that the process cannot be hurried along to meet your schedule.

You must allow the sun to rise in its own time and oh, dear one, imagine it in full glory. Imagine it rising incremental step by incremental step, each moment more lovely, more beautiful than another; imagine it as the clouds crowd in and for a moment you cannot see the sun; still you do not try and push the clouds away. You trust that in time they will float away, easily and effortlessly, though what may occur in the meantime is dark sky, rain, inclement weather.

It is a beautiful analogy dear one for what you are experiencing. You might say, “Drat, the sun is not shining,” yet you know the sun has not left – just as you know the insight, the knowledge the FEELING, the development you have experienced is still readily apparent, readily accessible. Think of the sun at full height. Think of the pleasure you have experienced in the act of allowing. That is the same. That is the same.

Do not fear; do not allow yourself to tred water, so to speak, but instead allow yourself to move purposefully along. Do not attempt to hurry the process; instead allow yourself to say thank you for yet another opportunity to still the mind; to ask; to explore; to offer thanks.

Remember you have asked for this experience; you have asked to play and explore and you are beautifully moving in the direction of your soul’s greatest desire: unlimited freedom; unlimited joy; unlimited service; unlimited faith. All is possible. All is possible.

You are loved, dear one. You are caressed. Be kind. Ask for assistance. Reach out to the blessed ones in the angelic realm. Reach out to those you call friend. Reach out to self. Love, deeply love.”

It is not in another; it is not outwardly. It is within you to determine what should be your call to action – whether to go this way, turn that…whether or not to step forward or to wait.

Dear one, too often this guidance is ignored as if it has not occurred. It is always, always available. It requires tuning in. It allows trusting that what you receive is accurate.

Release all fear. Release all anxiety. Begin each day with an affirmation. Allow the next step to unfold without feeling you need to figure it out. It does not require that you know with certainty where you are going but that you trust with certainty in the wisdom that surrounds you.

Though you have felt hurt and pain, you have felt the prick of anger, know that in the highest sense this is a move that will propel you forward. To be complacent, to be in a position that does not fill your cup, that would have eventually created within you divergence. In time you would have felt the sting of settling in for the ride.

Release your desire to know with certainty what is next. Pay attention to the words, phrases and names that come your way in the coming weeks. Be open to the guidance that is all around you. Be open to releasing the outcome of what is to occur.

Begin each day asking for guidance, asking for wisdom, asking for the right and perfect position to present itself. Do not see this as wasted action or unnecessary for it is imperative that you proceed in this way. Just as other opportunities have unfolded in the past, you will again know when the right and perfect venture has presented.

Listen to your wisdom; listen to your inner guidance. Know that you are not alone but are surrounded by many who rejoice in you.
